About CRSA

Coach Rudi Sports Academy offers a variety of sports activities for children of all ages, from preschoolers to teens, in a safe, fun and respect filled community. We teach specific sports and skills in age appropriate groups using our highly qualified staff. The programs are offered primarily through individual sign up but may also be designed for schools and other groups.

Currently CRSA serves over 1000 children annually, offering baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, floor hockey and more. Our programs are designed to be non-competitive and developmental. The staff currently consists of part time and two full time coaches and teachers. Private coaching is available upon request.We also specialize in exciting and fun filled birthday parties highlighting a sports activity chosen by the birthday child to be enjoyed by all attending the party.

Our approach is to provide each child with individual and social enrichment. Individual enrichment emphasizes honesty, integrity, respect and skill development with a sense of personal success and self esteem. The discipline and rigor learned in a "respect filled" based athletic program carries into the young person’s academic studies. Social enrichment emphasizes teamwork, friendship and a positive playful environment which recognizes the successes of others. Such positive involvement promotes responsible social behaviors.

Our Founder

Founder Rudi Behar (Coach Rudi) has been providing San Francisco youth the same type of instruction and environment for over 12 years. A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Rudi is a San Francisco native who attended Galileo High School. He participated in sports while growing up and has been inducted into the San Francisco High School Hall of Fame. Prior to opening CRSA, Rudi worked for the San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department while attending university. Rudi has developed an outstanding reputation with children and parents alike. He has a staff of coaches and assistants with experience in teaching and supporting children as well as playing and coaching sports.
